I play my original music with Conspiracy Theories, which is an amalgam of rock, funk, and soul with rich arrangements and harmonies and complex, evocative lyrics. I also run a number of different cover projects under the name True Believers, as well as playing in the Soul Avengers, a 60s/70s soul band; Tell Mama, a Janis Joplin tribute project; and Strider, which plays Led Zeppelin. My bands and projects have covered David Bowie, Al Green, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, the Meters, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, The Grateful Dead, the Eagles and Warren Zevon, Fleetwood Mac—even the Afghan Whigs—and many more, from New Orleans rhythm-and-blues to disco.
